What does it mean to touch a memory that you shouldn’t?

Dimensions: 100 x 130cm

This work reflects how I've always known my grandmother, not only through grand gestures but also in quiet, fragmented moments: a glance, a scent, a gentle touch.

Guided by the belief that someone we love is built from the memories we create together, this piece explores how her image is shaped

through recollection.

Each bubble holds an abstract trace of our shared time, piecing together her figure the way I remember her, tender and fragile.

Artwork exhibited in NAFA FOAD Showcase and RE: PLAY, an exhibition collaboration between NAFA and Atelier Hoko at the Photographic Society of Singapore (PSS).
